1. What did you do this past week?

Last week I attended lectures and started working on the Life project with my partner. I also had a lot of work in my data mining class which I started going through. Outside of school, I went paint balling with my friends and I went out to celebrate a friends birthday by getting brunch.

2. What’s in your way?

Currently, wrapping my mind around the Life project is taking some time. I am still trying to properly understand how Cell, AbstractCell, and various cell types interact

3. What will you do next week?

Next week, I plan to finish the project with my partner and start working on the rest of the data mining homework. Hopefully, I can finish both in time.

4. What did you think of Paper #14: The New Methodology?

I heard about agile before, but it was always really vague and I never fully understood it. I am glad we were assigned this paper because I was able to understand the philosophy in more detail and how the power dynamic works between developers and managers in an Agile methodology

5. What was your experience of Life, smart pointers, and virtual?

The lectures were helpful, but I am still struggling to understand all of the interactions exactly. I will rewatch lectures to better understand this.

6. What made you happy this week?

I was able to spend a lot of time with my friends the past 2 days as we had 2 birthdays in the friend group. I always appreciate being able to spend time with people I am close with.

7. What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip of the week is to take time for yourself. In the last couple weeks, I have started to realize that this semester is ending a lot faster than I expected and ultimately I am only going to be in college once in my life, so I should take the time to enjoy the ride.
