What did you do this past week?

This past week I had a test and a data mining assignment which I was working on primarily before spring break. My goal was to finish all of my work before spring break, so I could take the time to myself and I achieved that goal thankfully!

What’s in your way?

As of now, thankfully nothing is in my way.

What will you do next week?

Since its spring break my friends and I decided to visit our friends studying abroad. So we are super excited to go to Europe for a week and explore some new cities and cultures!

What did you think of Paper #8: Interface Segregation Principle?

I really liked this paper because it showed some direct examples and answered questions I had in my head earlier. For example, the paper did a great job explaining the use case for global variables. Something I did not understand previously. Further, ISP was something I heard about during my internship last summer, but I did not fully grasp it. Thankfully, I am able to better understand it after this paper.

What was your experience of std::array, iterators, and equal?

I am still confused about iterators. I will probably have to rewatch lectures and play around with them. But, other than iterators I thought the explanation for array and equal was fairly clear.

What made you happy this week?

Looking forward to visiting a new country is making me really happy. I am really glad to have this opportunity and hope to take advantage of it!

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

One tool I recently downloaded on my mac was iTerm2. This is just another terminal that you can use, but I found that you can customize the look and feel of the terminal to your preference. So, it is more visually appealing.
